It depends on the construction and the fabric. Development and sampling start at a single piece. Production minimums typically begin around 100 pieces per style for standard constructions, and higher where a custom fabric has to be knitted or dyed to order. We will give you a firm number once we know the garment.

A first prototype usually takes 7 to 10 working days once the design and materials are agreed. Most products settle after two or three sample rounds. Bulk production typically runs 30 to 45 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and material lead time.

Yes. A significant part of our work is helping first-time brands get from an idea or a sketch to a manufacturable product. We handle the technical decisions you have not made yet, including construction, materials, grading and cost engineering.

Yes. Development happens entirely in-house rather than through third-party workshops, and we sign an NDA before any technical discussion if you would like one. We do not show client work publicly without written permission.

Bonding joins fabric using ultrasonic or high-frequency welding and adhesive films instead of thread. It removes seam bulk and the friction that causes chafing, and allows flatter, lighter garments. UGLOW produced the world's first 100% stitch-free active apparel range. We build in fully bonded, hybrid bonded-and-stitched, or fully stitched construction depending on what the product needs.

Both. We work from a finished tech pack if you have one, and from a rough concept or a reference garment if you do not. Design, pattern engineering, material development and manufacturing are the same team in the same building.

Sampling is charged per prototype and varies with complexity. Pattern and development work is quoted per style up front, so there are no open-ended fees. Sampling costs are commonly credited against a first production order.

Yes. We produce between 50,000 and 100,000 garments a year and take products from a first sample through to repeat seasonal production without changing partner or re-tooling with a new factory.
